This Level 1 course will introduce you to the practical skills and machinery needed for starting your career in the conservation industry.

What you need to get on

You will need at least two GCSEs at grade 2 and above (E and above) and have studied GCSE English and maths or functional skills at Entry level 3 or above. We will also consider your prior learning and any experience gained in an appropriate professional environment. An enthusiasm for working outdoors is required. Before you start your course, if you are aged between 16 and 18 years, you will be invited to attend a fun and practical one-day preparation workshop where you will meet your tutors
