Are you a vehicle technician who's looking to hone their skills in fixing vehicle misalignment? This IMI training course helps you learn how to set up, realign and rectify vehicle misalignment on damaged cars, so you meet the industry standard. This module is built to help you work in bodyshops that follow the BS10125 standard for quality and safety. You'll apply your mechanic training to real-work tasks such as mounting vehicles on alignment jigs, measuring against manufacturer data and doing straightening faults using tools and automotive equipment. Whether you're just starting out or looking to upskill, our IMI training blends learning with hands-on experience in our specialist workshops.
What you need to get on
This course is for experienced technicians who already work in panel repair or alignment settings. You should have a solid foundation in vehicle body repair and alignment. You should also be able to work under your own initiative. You'll benefit if you already hold mechanic qualifications or previous IMI training and have alignment workshop exposure.
