With your ATA or VTAA Light Vehicle Inspection Technician Accreditation, you will be well-prepared to advance towards obtaining your MOT Tester License.

What you need to get on

Inspection technicians must be able to work unsupervised - ideally, they should be in full-time employment with at least 3 years' experience to ensure they are familiar with the techniques for vehicle servicing, inspection and system(s) diagnosis.

Two-year technical qualification with a 45-day industry placement. Equivalent to three A levels.
