This course has two units: The consolidation of the Tudor dynasty in England 1485-1603 and Revolution and Dictatorship in Russia and the Soviet Union 1917-1953. There is also a historical investigation into Civil Rights in the USA 1865-1994.

If History Studied at GCSE a grade 5 is required. It is also strongly recommended that you have a grade 5 in English.
