What the college says

"There is nothing new in the world except the history you do not know." Harry Truman "You know, there's no such thing as society. There are individual men and women and there are families. And no government can do anything except through people, and people must look after themselves first." Margaret Thatcher Studying History helps students understand the significance of historical events, the role of individuals in history and the nature of change over time. This in turn helps them to gain a deeper understanding of the past through considering political, social, economic and cultural perspectives. The engaging topics offered available to them throughout the course will provide them with the knowledge and skills they require to succeed.
