The course will involve the study of British and World History divided into two examined units and a coursework unit: 1) Stuart Britain and the Crisis of Monarchy (1603-1702) 2) The American Dream - Reality and Illusion (1945-1980) 3) Historical Investigation - France (1783-1905)
What you need to get on
All students entering the Sixth Form to undertake a 3 A Level Programme must have secured 5 GCSE grades at 4 or above. It is expected that all students will achieve a GCSE grade 4 or higher in GCSE English Language and GCSE Mathematics.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
