This is an exciting course that offers students the opportunity to enhance their enthusiasm for history and is designed to encourage debate and discussion. Students will be able to develop their historical skills whilst deepening their knowledge of different historical periods. It is important to have an enquiring mind, an interest in the past and its relevance to current affairs, and an ability to communicate your ideas effectively.

What you need to get on

GSCE 6 grade 5 (or C) in any any subjects including Maths and English Language, with min. 5 at grades 6 (or B). 7 to do Maths, Chemistry, Physics. 6 to do Biology or 76 in Combined. Grade 8 in Maths to do Further Math.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
