A Level History is an academic course which aims to allow students to study issues in breadth, depth and to carry out an Historical investigation. The A level involves a study of The Tudors 1485-1603, Germany 1918-45 and a personal study based on a topic of the student's choice.
What you need to get on
Minimum of 5 9 - 4 grades at GCSE including a 4 grade in history (or a 4 grade in English if you did not take GCSE history)
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
