The Level 3 Health and Social Care course is a full-time qualification which, when completed to Extended Diploma level by the end of the second year, will give you all you need to further your career in Health and Social Care. Offering UCAS points equivalent to A level, it is a gateway to university degree courses such as midwifery and nursing, occupational therapy, paramedic science, social work, psychology and many more. Time in industry on work placement throughout the entire programme as well as lectures and practical workshops by industry professionals in college will provide you with relevant and useful skills, knowledge and confidence to prepare you for your next steps.

What you need to get on

To enrol on this course, you need to have Maths and English at GCSE Grade 4 in addition to 3 other GCSEs at Grade 4 or higher. Alternative qualifications such as the Level 2 Certificate at a Merit will also be considered along with English and Maths at Grade 5.
