This Level 3 course is a coherent study of the health and social care sector and supports progression to a HE university degree in a related subject; these include nursing, midwifery, paramedic science, social work, occupational therapy, teaching and many more. It could also lead to an apprenticeship in the sector for those who wish to go straight out into practice to work as care/support workers.

What you need to get on

A minimum of five GSCEs at grade 4, including English and/or maths or successful completion of a relevant Level 2 qualification at merit grade and good progress with English and maths, including attendance at the GCSE exams if applicable.
