This programme can provide you with the opportunity to explore health and social care in its broadest context and aims to develop independent learners who are able to successfully progress in to health and social care related professions. The qualification has been designed to develop knowledge and awareness of the types of provision in the health and social care sectors and the roles played by workers – from principles and values through to health and social areas such as learning disability or mental health. These qualifications cover a wide range of key subject areas in health and social care. The Level 1 certificate, allows learners to decide on whether a career in health and social care is right for them and then progress onto Level 2 courses in the field.

Three GCSEs at grade 2 including English You will also require a good reference from school Students will normally take part in an interview prior to being enrolled on the programme.

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
