This course will help you develop the necessary skills, experience and techniques for you to become a qualified hairdresser. You will learn practical skills for a range of salon activities, from conducting client consultations to cutting and dressing hair.The course will explore how different shampoos and conditioners affect the hair and scalp, and you will study a variety of colouring and lightening products and techniques. You will learn how to work in accordance with health and safety procedures to ensure the well-being of your clients, your colleagues, and yourself.As well as working in the college's own hairdressing salon, you will also have the opportunity to do a period of work experience. You will also work on improving your English and Maths skills.
