This course will help you develop the necessary skills, experience, and techniques to become a qualified hairdresser. You will learn practical skills for a range of salon activities, from conducting client consultations to cutting and dressing hair. The course will explore how different shampoos and conditioners affect the hair and scalp, and you will study a variety of colouring and lighting products and techniques.You will learn how to work by health and safety procedures to ensure the well-being of your clients, your colleagues, and yourself. As well as working in the college's hairdressing salon, you will also have the opportunity to have a period of work experience. You will also work on improving your English and Maths skills.
