p You will cover a range of topics that include health and safety and food safety teamworking and customer service kitchen and cookery. /p p You will attend college 3/4 days per week and spend time in our kitchens café and restaurant as well as in a class room. /p p Over the year you will put together a portfolio of evidence which will be assessed to gain your qualification. /p
What you need to get on
p This course is designed for school leavers wishing to enter the exciting world of hospitality. This is the first step towards a career that can include working either in a kitchen as a chef or front of house in a customer service role. /p p To access this course your will need 3 GCSEs at 2 or above with either Math or English at a grade 3 . /p p Please note that it is a requirement that if you do not have a 4 or above in Math and/or English you will resit these GCSEs as part of your study p
