What the college says
To enable students to understand a wide variety of spoken and written German and to communicate confidently, clearly and effectively in German in both speaking and writing. To find out about, research and develop opinions about the society, culture and heritage of countries and communities where German is spoken. Most importantly, to enjoy listening to, speaking, reading and writing German! This is a two year course and will be examined in Year 13.
What you need to get on
Grade 7 in GCSE German, Strong grade 6 will be considered
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
