What the college says

Britain’s increasingly important role in Europe means that your career prospects could be enhanced if you are a competent linguist. The syllabus is a natural extension from GCSE and approximately equal stress is laid on each of the four linguistic skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Great importance is attached to the life and culture in Germany. By the end of the 2 year A Level course you will have a sound grasp of grammatical structure and so be more confident in oral and comprehension skills so valued by employers.
