What the college says

Geography deals with major world issues in a vigorous way; it gives a wider picture of the world in which we live. The study of Geography will equip you with an appreciation of the relationships between people and their environment ? both locally and globally. Students will develop an in-depth understanding of physical and human geography, the complexity of people and environment questions and issues, and become critical, reflective and independent learners. This is achieved through an issues-based approach to studying geography, enabling students to explore and evaluate contemporary geographical questions and issues such as the consequences of globalisation, responses to hazards, water insecurity and climate change.
