The course involves an in depth analysis of key geographical issues related to the 21st Century and highlighted daily within the media. Candidates will be expected to investigate the nature of physical and human environments. There is a required field trip element to the course. This assists with the completion of the Unit 4 independent investigation.

Overall requirement for Post 16: 5 GCSEs at 9-4 (English and Mathematics grade 4) Subject specific requirements: Grade 6 in Geography Grade 5 in English (literature or language)
