Geography is an exciting but challenging subject that offers the academic rigour that universities recognise. The course looks at both physical and human topics. We study important global issues such as globalisation, sustainability of resources and how places are changing. You will develop a wide range of skills - such as report writing and interpretation and evaluation of a wide variety of data, opinions and viewpoints. You will be looking at how the world will change in the future and deciding how it could or should change with different approaches.

What you need to get on

You will need to have at least A or B at GCSE Geography. You should have an interest in current affairs and be willing to go out on Field Trips.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
