The aim of the course is to encourage students to engage critically with real world issues and places, apply their own geographical knowledge, understanding and skills to make sense of the world around them, and to help prepare them to succeed in their chosen pathway. The course addresses key ideas and debates in our world today such as climate change/globalisation/urban regeneration/management of the world’s resources. Focus is on understanding the links between people and their environments.
