What the college says

The course has two main strands. The first is learning about and understanding a range of geographical features and landforms, the second investigates the interaction between people and the environment. In Year 12, students will study Tectonic Processes and Hazards; Coastal Landscapes and Change; Globalisation and Regenerating Places. Towards the end of the year, students will identify and research their own individual piece of coursework which they will write up and evaluate which is contributes 20% towards the final grade. During Year 13, students will study the Water Cycle and Water Insecurity; the Carbon Cycle and Energy Security; Climate Change; Superpowers and Migration, Identity and Sovereignty.
