In Year 12 the students study 3 topics: investigation of climate change around the world, investigating tectonic and hydrological change and research methods and fieldwork on coasts. In Year 13, students study a breadth of 3 topics, indepth: sustainability of food, water supply; cities, and extreme environments; development, globalisation with the emerging Asia: China and India. They must also complete a Geographical Enquiry - this is the coursework option and students write a piece of coursework based one of the topics of their choice linked to the syllabus.
