What you need to get on
You need to have completed the corresponding 'Getting Ready For' course before enrolling onto this course. Established Maths skills at Level 2 on the BKSB initial assessment as a minimum. Language skills corresponding to Level 2 as a minimum, evidenced through initial screening or a GCSE English grade C/Grade 4/Functional Skills Level 2 English or above (evidence required).
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
