This course is for people that would like to progress their careers but need a GCSE in Maths to get ahead, such as teaching or nursing. It�s also suitable for anyone wishing to broaden their knowledge and understanding of Maths. Following on from your offer of a place on the adult GCSE Maths course, you will undertake an assessment in the first two weeks to ensure a we find the right course for you.
What you need to get on
There are no entry requirements to enrol on this course, however it would be beneficial if you held a grade 3/ D in Maths or a Level 2 Functional Skills qualification. There will be an entrance test for all students to assess current abilities
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
