This is a course for anyone aged 19+ who wants to improve their English and gain a Functional Skills qualification You may be doing this for your own development, as a workplace requirement, for further study, or to help children or grandchildren with their skills. If English is your second language, your English skills must be sufficient to follow the teacher speaking and complete tasks independently. This is valuable preparation for the GCSE programme and once you have gained a Level 2 qualification you may be ready to follow it.
