What the college says

If you are interested in questions about what is real and what is true, or social, religious and ethical issues, then this is the subject for you. Philosophy and Ethics is highly regarded by universities and provides excellent analytic skills that will be crucial for professional and academic development in law, business, journalism, politics and many other areas. We will look at the origins of philosophy: why should we be moral? How can we have knowledge about the world? Followed by various religious philosophical topics including proofs for the existence of God and challenges to these arguments. We will also look at the theory behind ethical issues such as abortion, war, human rights, euthanasia and crime.
