Ever wondered what democracy is really all about? Politics looks at all these issues and more. Politics tries to find out who hold power, why they hold power and how they are held to account for using that power.

What you need to get on

Grade 4 or higher in GCSE English Language. An average GCSE score of 5.20 or higher.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
