This course will allow students to read widely and independently, engage critically and creatively with set texts and wider reading, develop and apply own knowledge and explore the contexts of texts and different interpretations of them. Please speak to your English teacher for more information about the course and to have any further questions you may have answered. They will also be able to recommend background reading that you should embark on prior to starting the course. A-level English Literature Is a challenging and academic subject and students will be expected to read widely and regularly outside of lessons.

At least 5 A*-C GCSE, including grade 6s in English Language and English Literature.
