Sociology is the study of human social relationships, how society is organised and how we experience life. Sociology looks at topics such as the causes of crime, religious beliefs, education, the family, social class and culture and identity. Sociology is an exciting and illuminating field of study that analyses and explains important matters in our personal lives, our communities, and the world.
What you need to get on
You will need 5 GCSEs at grade 5-9, including English Language.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
