A-Level Mathematics is suitable for students who enjoy mathematical problem-solving and applying logical methods. Good mathematical ability and knowledge is very highly valued by potential employers in progressing to many interesting and rewarding careers, as well as enabling progression to higher education. To achieve a good level of mastery, students should be prepared to spend extended periods of time outside of their timetabled classroom lessons practicing their skills and developing their understanding and knowledge. You will need 5 GCSE's at grades 5-9, including Mathematics at grade 6.
