Students study the following topic areas - social issues and trends, political and artistic culture. They will be expected to study the grammatical system and structures of the language. They are assessed on listening, reading and writing and a further written paper. Students also complete a speaking exam which incorporates presentation and discussion of an individual research project and discussion based on stimulus cards.
