GCE A Level in Spanish
at Sackville School, East Grinstead · school or sixth form
What the college says
The two year A level course allows students to develop their language skills to a very high level as well as exploring the culture, current issues and trends in countries where French, German or Spanish are spoken. We will also study a film and a literary text in the chosen language. In addition students choose an area of interest to them for an individual research project. Groups have specialist, experienced A level teachers and weekly timetabled sessions with the foreign language assistant. German students have the opportunity to take part in a study visit to an engineering college in Hamburg, and Spanish students will be invited to take part in a work experience visit to Madrid. French students can carry out work experience in our twin town Bourg-de Péage.
