It can lead to a Spanish degree, or can also be studied in combination with another language, English Literature or International Business Management. Spanish is the second most widely-spoken language in the world after Mandarin, so the subject offers huge geographical, cultural and historical scope alongside the ability to become linguistically proficient. The language skills acquired will allow you to access a world of exciting literature and films. If you enjoyed GCSE Spanish you will relish the challenge of A level. Studying AS over two years may be possible as an ‘extra’ to your three other A Levels.
