Students follow OCR Physical Education. The course embeds a knowledge and understanding of scientific, psychological and contemporary concepts. Areas of study are anatomy and physiology, skill acquisition, socio-cultural studies, sport psychology and historical studies.
What you need to get on
Grade 5 GCSE PE/Science plus Grade 5 GCSE English Language. Analysis of sport performance plus research and teamwork skills are required, together with the ability to perform two practical sports to a high level.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
