This course is for anyone moving on from GCSE with an interest in Sport and Physical Education. You might decide to choose PE because you're heading for a career in the sports industry, however it will also equip you with valuable skills such as teamwork, resilience and communication that can be used in a wide range of careers. You'll need enthusiasm and passion for sport, along with a commitment to training and performing regularly in at least one sport at a minimum of club level. A Level PE combines well with subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Psychology.

What you need to get on

Requires minimum grade 6 in GCSE Physical Education. You will also need to provide evidence of participation at club level in one sport.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
