This OCR A-Level Physical Education (PE) course is for students who are passionate about sport, exercise, and understanding the science behind physical performance. It suits learners who enjoy practical activity as well as analysing factors that affect performance, health, and fitness. The course is ideal for students considering further study or careers in sports science, coaching, physiotherapy, teaching, health and fitness, or related fields, as well as those who want to develop both their practical and theoretical understanding of physical education.

What you need to get on

5 GCSE's at 5-9. Students will be expected to have at least a Merit in BTEC sport at Level 2 or Grade 6 in a science, Grade 5 in English and Maths. We highly recommend that you are playing a sport outside of College regularly. (training at least twice per week)

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
