You will have an opportunity to create, record and discover all about sound and the music which we enjoy every day. Focused towards the practical and theoretical aspects of music technology, you will use industry standard software and equipment to create their own projects. You will also develop both their musical skills as well their understanding of music technology whilst allowing the freedom to be creative within the boundaries set by the exam board.

What you need to get on

Grade 4 in GCSE English Language & Maths. No prior music qualification is necessary but a keen interest in music as a performer and or technologist in some form is important. An avid interest in technology and how it is used in the process of making music is vital to engage with the course.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
