What the college says
The course is well suited to musicians who have specific strengths and interest in the use of music technology. The subject is broad enough to appeal to a wide range of musicians interested in all kinds of popular music and the development of technology. There is no performance assessment in the exam.
What you need to get on
Grade 4 or above in Music GCSE or equivalent. Grade 3/4 on an instrument is preferred. A good standard of computer literacy (not a GCSE) is essential.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
