Having a solid foundation in how to get started in this field is at the heart of the course. This qualification is well suited to those pursuing a career in the music industry. It can be taken with other advanced level courses including Music.

What you need to get on

Minimum Sixth Form entry is Five 5s. For this course: GCSE grade 4 in GCSE Music or equivalent. A strong portfolio of work demonstrating a range of music technology skills would be considered in the absence of a formal music qualification.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
