The Eduqas Music course is designed to allow students to pursue their own musical interests. Students develop skills in the three distinct but related disciplines of performing, composing and appraising, whilst having flexibility to specialise in either performing or composing, and engage with both classical and popular music.

What you need to get on

Grade 6 or above in Music GCSE. Grade 6 or above on their first instrument or voice. Grade 5 or above in Music Theory is preferred. Owing to the aural content of this course, students should expect to use their singing voices extensively in class, and being a member of one of the School’s choirs would be desirable.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
