You will make connections between different media forms and products, between media products and their contexts both historical and political and between theory and practical work. You will engage with a range of rich and stimulating media forms and products from a range of historical and geographical locations identifying their significance to their audiences and their place in society.

What you need to get on

Grade 6 in GCSE Media Studies and Grade 5 in English Language together with satisfactory and attitudinal references. For students that have not studied the subject at GCSE their application will be on an individual basis looking at attainment in other subjects which require good analytical and communication skills, principally English.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
