Students follow WJEC Eduqas Media Studies. The course offers the opportunity to study every form of media including newspapers, magazines and films. Topics include gender, ethnicity, age, issues, events and regional and national identities.

What you need to get on

Grade 5 GCSE English Language. Evaluative and analytical skills are required, plus an interest in the effective use of words. Students need to be interested in reading, watching and creating media products.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
