If we don’t we don’t understand how to ‘read’ the media we will never be able to understand how that information is being CONTROLLED and COMMUNICATED. Media Literacy is essential in the 21st Century e get excited, we get angry, we laugh and we cry – BECAUSE OF THE MEDIA We get sound bite politics – BECAUSE OF THE MEDIA We panic about vaccines, medicines, food, drink, health – BECAUSE OF THE MEDIA We know what music to buy, what clothes to wear, what technology is being produced– BECAUSE OF THE MEDIA
