Students should have a general interest in media analysis and production. During this course you will study a range of media forms in terms of our key theoretical frameworks which consists of media language, representation, media industries and audiences. The following media forms are studied: newspapers, magazines, television, online, social and participatory media. Advertising and marketing, film, music video, radio and video games are studied in relation to selected areas of the framework. There is also a significant practical component where you will create your own media product to a specific brief.

5 Grade 5-9 including English and Maths

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
