What the college says
A Level History aims to get you thinking about the significance of historical events, the role of individuals in history and the nature of change over time. By looking at widely differing time perios students will get a broader view of the world, looking at political, social, economic and cultural perspectives. The personal study in Year 13 will give students the chance to develop their skills as independent learners and allow them to shape their studies around areas that particularly interest them.
