What the college says
If students choose to study A Level History, they will have the opportunity to study units examining two very different periods of time. This option allows students to study a breadth of issues focusing on continuity, cause and consequence. This course is ideal for students with a passion for history and applying skills to situations along with strong a GCSE grade.
What you need to get on
A minimum of a grade 5 in GCSE History and/or a grade 4 in GCSE English plus general entry requirements.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
