What the college says
We are offering a syllabus that has real relevance in today’s world, where students are taught the skills of understanding and analysing sources, recalling and selecting information, building a logical argument and developing sensitivity towards historical problems. This course has a heavy emphasis on literacy and essay writing, and requires students to read additional material.
What you need to get on
History GCSE Grade 6 or above. English Language GCSE Grade 6 or above or English Literature GCSE Grade 6 or above and Grade 5 in any three other GCSE subjects.
