If you feel the same, then A Level German could be for you. This course helps you to develop confident, fluent communication skills in the German language and a thorough understanding of the amazing culture of the countries where German is spoken. There are lots of opportunities to engage in areas of personal interest, such as films, literature, cultural issues and develop a range of linguistic skills, from summarising and reporting back, to translation and critical analysis of literature.

What you need to get on

5 GCSES 4-9 or A*-C to include Maths and English Lang or Lit Grade 5 + GCSE German 5 (Grade 6 desirable)

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
