Changes for the better. In A Level Geography we study a total of 8 topics across the 2 years. In each unit of study students will consider the values and attitudes of decision makers, consider their own values and attitudes to the issues being studied and support their learning of ideas through the study of specific case studies. Students will also develop a variety of geographical skills, which will broaden and deepen existing knowledge and be employed with a greater degree of independence. We teach a number of Human and Physical topics that include up to date a real life case studies that are occurring on a national and international scale. A Level students must complete a minimum of four days of fieldwork. Fieldwork must be carried out in relation to processes in physical and human geography. There are no prescribed locations or topics and so we will listen to your ideas and suggestions as to where we go and what we investigate. How cool is that?! What would you like to investigate?

Candidates are required to have gained at least a level 6 in GCSE Geography.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
