This course is for students who really appreciate mathematics and want to learn new concepts. You will become familiar with some topics from A Level Mathematics and apply them to a wider variety of topics. Further Mathematics is widely known and appreciated by many as one of the most difficult A Level courses you can enrol on, it requires you to put in a lot of time and effort to achieve good results. It's a good combination with Physics, but the transferable skills including logical reasoning, problem solving and analytical thinking can be applied to a wide range of areas.

Requires minimum grade 8 in GCSE Mathematics.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
